Glacier Bay Cruise: Day 2
The second day of our cruise, we woke up Reid Inlet. We spent the day kayaking in and around the inlet. In the late afternoon, we cruised up Johns Hopkins Inlet through lots of small icebergs. As it got dark, we visited the Grand Pacific and Marjorie Glaciers.

The view from our kayak in the morning

We passed some small icebergs while kayaking.

Here we are in our kayak in front of Reid Glacier.

We got out and walked around on the new ground in front of Reid Glacier.

The blue color of the ice shows that it's very dense.

This river is meltwater coming from the glacier.

Here's Paul taking pictures as we approach the Johns Hopkins Glacier.

The peaks in the background are over 10,000 feet high.

We saw lots of harbor seals resting on the ice.

We couldn't fit all of Marjorie Glacier in the picture.
