Our last day in Alaska, we drove from Seward
back to Anchorage. Along the way, we stopped to see a bore
tide come up Turnagain Arm.
This mountain goat was lounging right next to the road.
A bore tide is foaming wall of water, formed by a flood tide
surging into a narrow inlet. We knew it was coming when a
surfer arrived and ran into the water to wait for it.
