Our second dive of the day was at Steve's Bommie. Here's one of the maps that Brad drew before every dive to show us where to go and what to look for.
There were so many different kinds of fish, coral, and invertebrates that we couldn't remember everything we saw on a dive. We used the fish poster and field guides on the Supersport to help.
This coral is growing on other corals.
It's hard to smile underwater.
We saw lots of giant clams like this one at a dive site called Clam Beds the previous day.
The lionfish (top) looks a lot like a feather pen (bottom). The lionfish are poisonous, but not really dangerous to divers (unless you reach out and grab one).
Anemone fish are protected from the stinging tentacles of their home by a chemical in their body slime.
It's easier to take pictures of coral than fish, because the coral doesn't move.
