New this week
The ivy near the driveway is covered with these dark berries.
These are in the bed under the master bedroom window.

More winter weather this week. On the lower part of the hill, a big prickly pear cactus fell over, taking a piece of fence with it. I'm not sure if it was just too steep and soggy, but we've also had a lot of wind recently.
The echeveria seems to like the rain; it's getting huge.
This is the prickly pear cactus that fell over; the roots just ripped right out of the ground.
The usual spots
The bulbs near the seating area are growing fast.
The salvia is still in bloom.
The lone Iceland poppy has probably been blown off by the wind by now.
Grass is starting to take over in this bed; once the weather gets a little better, I need to weed.
