Bocas del Toro day 3: Red Frog Beach
We went into Bocas again to find out what happened to the snorkel boat.
The weather wasn't great, so they weren't going. We decided to go to
Red Frog Beach on Isla Bastimentos for the day instead; it was about a 15
minute water taxi ride to the marina. From there we walked across the island
to the deserted beach. We played in the water a bit but the waves were a
little too rough.

We walked along the beach, stopping to play in a freshwater
pool. We hiked along a steep jungle trail to get to the restaurant for lunch.

The sun came out in the afternoon, so we asked the water taxi driver to drop
us off at Hospital Point on Isla Solarte for an hour so we could go
snorkeling. There were "privado" signs all around the tiny beach where he
dropped us off, but we walked up the path a little ways and saw a couple of
bright orange frogs. Paul and Kimberly took turns swimming out and
snorkeling while Evan played in the waves.
