We started our trip staying in a shack outside Clarksdale, MS. From there we paddled
down Mississippi River for three days. After a night at Lake Chicot, we drove across Arkansas
to De Gray Lake. We spent a day on the lake, then visited the town and National Park at
Hot Springs. We went tubing on the Caddo River before heading back to Little Rock and the
plane home.
Evan liked playing in the water, throwing rocks into the water, catching and holding toads,
putting sticks in the fire, hitting plants with sticks, having chocolate milk with dinner,
driving the boat, and going down the "rabids."
