San Juan
After a delayed flight and missed connection, we made it to San Juan around 7:30pm. We checked in to La Terraza hotel in old San Juan, had dinner, and went to bed. The next morning, we walked from our hotel to Castillo San Felipe del Morro, built by the Spanish between 1539 and 1790. We saw cats, marine iguanas, and great views along the way. We checked out of our hotel and took a taxi to the small Isla Grande airport for our flight to the island of Vieques.
We walked along the narrow streets of Viejo San Juan to find dinner.
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment in the La Terraza hotel.
