Bocas del Toro day 1: Isla Carnero
We flew into the Bocas del Toro airport, then took a quick water taxi over
to
our rental house on the nearby Isla
Carnero. Our house had its own dock
with a bright blue roof, three bedrooms, and a high-ceilinged living room with
a wall of windows on both sides.
All of the water taxi drivers knew the Pickled
Parrot next door to our house.
We went into Bocas for lunch and to arrange a snorkeling trip. In the
afternoon we went to the beach a short walk from our house. After swimming,
we stared walking around the island.
It was starting to get dark as we got to the populated tip of the island,
so we got a water taxi the rest of the way back to our house.

Evan found a coconut floating in the water
